I joined the LLGL team in 2012 to help with the admin side of things. I process the Robyn’s Rainbows, merchandise requests and people’s kind donations; I also edit any incoming life stories for our website.
As a parent, the 'James Needs a Heart' campaign struck a particular chord with me. I also have several friends who have been affected by organ donation and Cystic Fibrosis, so my work with the charity has helped me gain a more personal insight into the situation.
Very few people seem to have thought about organ donation, let alone discussed their wishes with their loved ones. It makes sense to do so as it will help them to know they are making the decision you would want. It’s a win-win situation for everyone.
